Our P.P. is 60!

It's not everyone who has 2 Surprise Parties!!

The Leaders of Tullylish Youth Group decided 6 weeks ago to host a Surprise Birthday Party for their President, Father Powell

To put the P.P. off the scent of the big Surprise Party, on Thursday 9th October,
Surprise Party No 1 was held in the Parochial House!

When Fr. Powell returned from a meeting, he found that all his "little helpers"
had invaded his dining room!

Of course, we had to have a birthday cake!

NOW FOR THE REAL PARTY!

The Hall is ready

and the food is piping hot!

When Fr. P arrived back from the 7.30pm Mass in Clare, a banner greeted him in his own back yard saying:

The Leaders of TYG then met him and invited him to join them for a 'Chinese' in the Den!!!

I think he was a little shocked to find nearly 70 people waiting for him in the Den, singing "Happy Birthday"

He was more than a little shocked to see his family there!
