WHEN:             THURSDAY 28TH APRIL 2016

TIME:                7.30PM

  • PUBLIC REPRESENTATIVES WILL BE IN ATTENDANCE
  • COME ALONG TO HEAR UPDATE ON WHAT IS GOING ON
  • DONT MISS THIS CHANCE TO HAVE YOUR SAY
  • ALL OF US WORKING TOGETHER WILL MAKE GILFORD A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE AND WORK IN

Following a lengthy period of extensive lobbying Gilford Concerned Residents Group (GCRG) is delighted that the Gilford Mill estate has been sold and is now the property of Raceview Properties LTD. In taking over ownership of the iconic site the company has stated that they will welcome engagement with the Group to outline their plans for the property. Chairman of GCRG, Timothy Mayes and vice Chair Mary Quinn hope to have a meeting with Raceview Properties LTD in the very near future.

GCRG will be holding a public meeting at Gilford Community Centre, Stramore Rd, Gilford on Thursday 28th April at 7.30pm at which there will be public representatives in attendance. The Group would urge citizens to come along to the open meeting to hear an update on the work that has been done and work that is ongoing. The public meeting provides citizens with a great opportunity to engage directly with the Residents Group and public representatives, to air their views and concerns and put forward ideas and suggestions for improvements to the area. The Group hope to be in a position to give residents an update on the Mill property following their meeting with the new owners.

Gilford residents are urged not to miss this great opportunity to hear at firsthand what is happening, what is planned and to have their voice heard. GCRG is dedicated to ensuring the best possible services and facilities for Gilford residents and to see Gilford village enhanced. The Group will only be successful in achieving these aims with the full backing of Gilford residents, to that end GCRG look forward to a large turnout at the public meeting on Thursday 28th April.
