The Long Walk Down Print

The Long Walk Down Challenge

On Saturday 27th August the Rafferty family organised a 50 mile sponsored walk the length of County Down, from Holywood to Kilkeel in aid of Camphill Communities NI. The event was a huge success taking 18 hours, 5 legs and a total of 40 different participants during the day.

The event raised a fantastic £6,459.70. The Rafferty family would like to thank everyone in the parish who donated, walked or supported us in any way on the day. Your kindness is very much appreciated and the money will go directly to supporting adults and children with moderate to severe learning difficulties.
