And so this calling is on-going
part and parcel of the truth of life
It can be experience or action
It can be internal or external
It can be gentle or abrupt
It can be gifted or giving..

MEDITATION EVENINGS
Thornhill House is the venue for a series of five evenings where a piece of artwork or a piece of music will support us in developing a capacity to move into a mantraed silence where we are ar peace with the quiet centre within.
A one-hour experience of deepening where we are held in contemplation.

THE LANDSCAPE STILL SPEAKS
For a series of three Thursdays, Mary Murphy picks up some ot the poetry that speaks of our beloved Ireland in all its beauty and helps others to savour the richness of the written word and the allure of our home-landscapes
These evenings are facilitated in such a way as to allow us to delve into the imaging and expression of the poets. Mary leads us to explore together the depths of the literature. All poetry-lovers welcome!

TAKING ANOTHER TABLET- The lively discussion group on Church matters convenes again in Steelstown on the Second Wednesday of each month for an hour. GOING DEEPER (Series 1) Six short retreat days, based on the Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius for those seeking to attend to the inner life of prayer. This series will foster a process of engagement with Ignatian Spirituality. There will be a mix of input, interaction and prayer as well as a commitment to reading material during the week.
It is suited to anyone who seeks to deepen their capacity for prayer and discernment in their life.
