Hope my email finds you well.  At last the shoe purchase has been completed.  It was quite a task, trying to get all the little and not so little feet measured.  In addition to the shoes that the children got we were lucky to get an additional donation and each child also got a blanket, tracksuit, socks, hat, gloves and scarf.  Some also got towels and face-clothes.  We are deeply grateful to all in Tullylish who contributed to the donation that went towards getting the children shoes for school.  It was a wonderful experience to see the little faces light up with a big smile when they each got their shoes.  For sure just in time for Winter - it was Christmas in the middle of June!!!

 

Please let the parish at home know how grateful I am and all the Holy Cross Sisters engaged at Plastic View.  The photos are not great as the sun was shinning outside where we have the centre.  But you see the wheel-borrow is full of shoes.
