A huge thank you to everyone who supported the recent Vintage Fashion Show in the G.A.A. Complex. It certainly was a Fashion Show with a difference and a great night's entertainment was enjoyed by all.
Living Vintage is a travelling fashion show where models 'put on the style' and show off a magnificent collection of some of the most stylish haute couture of the forties and fifties in a great atmosphere of fun and nostalgia. Owned by sisters Bridget Owens and Marian Keenan, Living Vintage is a not for profit organisation and all monies raised are donated to the designated charity, Sr. Bernadette's Education for Life programme and their chosen charity Cancer Research.
Many thanks to all who donated prizes for the raffle, the G.A.A. for allowing the use of the hall and their help with the preparations, St. Colman's Bann P.S. for the use of their stage and anyone else who helped in any way.
A massive total of £2,100 was raised through ticket sales and raffle and this amount is divided between Living Vintage's chosen charity, Cancer Research and our own Sr. Bernadette's Duffy 'Education for Life" fund.
