On Wednesday 19th August, Kelly Stadelbauer paid a visit to the parish office.
It was in December 2013 that Kelly sent an enquiry through the website enquiring about her great-grandmother, Lucy Conlon from Coose.
That e-mail led to the Conlon connection with the Phoenix family, resulting in the Historical Society erecting a plaque at the site of the old Ballylough School!
Lucy Conlon married William Phoenix in 1899 and they went on to have 7 children: Mary Ann, Margaret, William, Sarah, Rose, George and James.
Sarah, born in 1908, emigtated to Canada in 1924 at the age of 16 and is Kelly's grandmother.

We can safely presume that her great grandmother, Lucy Phoenix is also buried here.
Kelly has just found the baptism entry of her great grandmother, Lucy Conlon - born 1877
