LISMORE'S 40TH ANNIVERSARY
Lismore Comprehensive School opened its doors for the very first time in September 1972 and to mark the 40th Anniversary of this occasion, the school is planning a series of events which it hopes will bring together pupils, staff, governors, parents and friends of Lismore, both past and present.
Commemorative activities which we have planned for later in this school year will include a variety concert featuring the school’s musical talent, past and present, a “Down Memory Lane” photographic archive display, and a 40th Anniversary magazine.
Our celebrations begin with a special Mass in St Anthony’s Church, Craigavon at 2.00pm on Sunday, 14th October, 2012 celebrated by Bishop McAreavey, with refreshments afterwards in St Anthony’s Hall.
You are warmly invited to this Mass which will also provide a great opportunity for you to renew acquaintances and rekindle memories.
