2016 Guided Tours of Newry Cathedral

Following the interest shown in the guided tours of the Cathedral in 2013, 2014 and 2015, there will be afurther series of Guided Tours of the Cathedral on the following Wednesdays:

27 April at 2pm; 18 May at 7pm; 29 June at 2pm; 27 July at 7pm;

17 August at 2pm; 31 August at 7pm

The tour will take approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. Please meet at the main door of the Cathedral.  You will hear the story of the building of the Cathedral 1825-1829 and the later extensions as well as the history of the stained glass, marble altars, sculptures and magnificient mosaics.  There is no charge for tours.
