In July 2006, Mrs. Rhona Fegan was awarded the Papal Honour of the Bene Merenti Medal by Pope Benedict XV1. Her family generously returned the medal and certificate to the Parish and it is now displayed in the Gallery where Rhona devoted 50 years of service as parish organist.

The beautiful cabinet was made by Joe Jordan - a life long friend of Rhona

The cabinet is positioned in the gallery where Rhona will never be forgotten by those who were privileged to know her and will also by seen in the years to come by those who may not have known her,
but will certainly have heard of her.
