Down to Dingle

The Down to Dingle Team presenting the cheque for £6,106.65 at Camphill Community Glencraig. The cheque is being presented to my brother Liam and the School Co-ordinator Vincent Reynolds.

The Down to Dingle Team would like to thank everyone who supported the 300 mile, 3 day challenge in aid of Camphill Communities for children and adults with learning difficulties. The cycle was succesfully and safely completed on Sunday 8th August, when the cyclists reached Camphill Community Dingle. The event was a great success and the total raised was an amazing £6,106.65.

Peter Rafferty

"On Sunday the 8th August at 7pm, the Down to Dingle cyclists reached Camphill Community in Dingle, County Kerry, succesfully completing their 300 mile in 3 Days challenge. The cycle was in aid of Camphill Communities, which offer opportunities for people with learning disabilities, and other special needs, to live, learn and work with others of all abilities in an atmosphere of mutual care and respect.

The Rafferty family would like to thank everyone who donated or helped in anyway. An update of the total raised will follow. You can still sponsor the cyclists; to do so, please visit

to make an online donation, or alternatively you can send your donation to any of the cyclists or their families"
