Banbridge Parish Centre was the venue for a Fund Raising Concert
held on Sunday 21st November 2009
Colum McGarry did a magnificent job as pianist for the evening. (Sorry Colum is a bit out of focus on this one but he has that effect on everyone!
Keep up the practising, Colum!)
The hall was packed to capacity
Oliver Moore was the main organiser and with the help of his side-kick Armand Gaillard a most enjoyable night was had by all.
The pupils of St. Colman's Bann P.S. get ready to take to the stage.
The school orchestra
These children told us the story of 'the dog in the playground'
and the choir, accompanied by Miss McCann, sang 'The Star of the County Down'.
St. John's P.S. opened the second half of the show
Conducting the choir was Mrs. Power and they were accompanied on piano by Colum
As Armand Gaillard commented after their performance, it is obvious to see why this choir has won so many competitions.
Armand and Oliver performing their ever popular 'Housing Executive' sketch.
Lynn Laverty and Paul Jordan accompanied by a Lynn's hubbie, Paul
Margaret Convery with siser-in-law Maureen Frazer
(It's a bit late for you to be up, Margaret!)
Eamon Savage
A picture not often seen! Liz Trainor with a bottle of orange.
Lynn, Paul and Paula
Fr. Powell thaked everyone who helped with the organisation of the concert and those who attended.
