Congratulations to Lisa Byrne from Hallsmill who has been named as one of 25 winners in an international competition hosted by the Guggenheim Museum and internet video site YouTube.
Lisa’s footage of taxi drivers has astounded New York audiences, with the New York Times saying watching it “may burn a hole in your heart”.
A photographer, artist and lecturer, Lisa was among 23,000 people who entered a short film into the YouTube Play competition.
Lisa is the daughter of Tony and Maureen Byrne, Hallsmill Green.
