Recently, St. Colman's Bann were delighted to welcome a very important gaelic player.  Aileen Pyers, a member of the All Ireland winning Down Team, visited our school today with Barry McConville and Brian Campbell.  She brought with her the All Ireland Intermediate Cup, the Ulster Championship Trophy and her All Star Trophy.  Aileen was awarded her All Star Trophy on 8th November, this means she is one of the best 15 ladies gaelic players in the whole of Ireland.  Aileen was also awarded the 2014 TG4 Junior Player of the Year.

Aileen gave an inspirational talk to the whole school on her career as a ladies footballer and took time to answer questions from the audience!
