"Many thanks to my colleague Nichola Mallon MLA for visiting St Colman's Bann Primary School this afternoon to meet with the very impressive Eco Committee and the Eco Warriors who wrote persuasive letters on climate change to MLA's and on what the government should be doing.
Unfortunately, I could not attend but I heard great things from my staff on the ideas and evironmental solutions in action at the school. Minister Mallon even got to plant the first of the many Blossom Trees and was entrusted to hold their mascot Eco Joe.
I heard Eco Joe is a bit of a celebrity with the children"
