St. Colman's Bann said farewell to Canon Powell on Friday 2nd September.
The prayers included the children's thanks to Canon Powell for his friendship and support for the school
and they also offered prayers for the new parish priest, Fr. Loughran. 

Mr. Tighe, principal, thanked the Canon for his personal friendship and all he has done for the school over the last 17 years. 

The new Head boy and girl greeted everyone to the First School Mass of the year

It was a lovely touch for the teachers to bring up the Offertory Gifts
