On Friday 3rd February Fr. Crossan celebrated a special assembly, blessing both the St. Brigid’s crosses made in school and also the throats of pupils and staff.
This epitomised the prayer of St. Teresa of Avila and was a lovely way to bring to a close all that has taken place in school this week to celebrate Catholic School’s Week.
Christ has no body now on earth, but yours,
no hands but yours, no feet but yours.
Yours are the eyes through which he looks out
Christ’s compassion to the world.
Yours are the feet with which he is to go about doing good,
and yours are the hands with which he is to bless us now.
