On Monday the 25^th November, the Cool FM roadshow bus came to Saint Patrick’s to deliver a workshop on Cultural Diversity. A number of students from Banbridge High School worked closely with students from Saint Patrick’s College and all present enjoyed arrange of activities organised by radio DJ Sonia Mac.

The first activity involved a group discussion on the meaning and impact of Cultural Diversity. Each student shared their daily experiences of ‘Cultural Diversity’. The second activity required all students to work together to develop a scenario depicting discrimination on the grounds of race and religion. This was an activity they particularly enjoyed!

Finally, using the scenarios created, each group had to develop an advertisement which was sent to the Cool FM recording studio for editing and to add backing tracks. The finished products were extremely professional
