Sentinus visits St. Patrick's |
Sentinus from Lisburn visited St. Patrick's College on Friday 28th February with their One Day Roadshow.
Secondary STEM Roadshows are one day programmes hosted by a secondary school, engaging approximately 60 Key Stage 3 pupils in interactive problem solving activities. A range of activities is available to cover science, technology and maths. Participants work in teams of three to solve a series of challenges, supported by trained sixth form mentors.
Skills addressed by activities include:
• Teamworking • Problem solving • Time Management • Leadership • Goal setting.
Jack Bridges said they have visited 60 schools this year and over 60,000 pupils have availed of the opportunity to learn about apps.
Sentinus provide the equipment for the day tablets, laptops and chargers. It was obvious how much the pupils enjoyed the experience.
