Tullylish Historical Society launched their latest DVD on Thursday 9th June in the Community Centre, Laurencetown.
The DVD tells in story in words and photos of the Yeats close connection with Tullylish and its production is part of the ongoing project supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund grant received by the Historical Socety. Copies of the DVD are available from Laurencetown Post Office or the Parish Office for a donation of £5.00 per copy.
A huge thank you to our loyal band of helpers who helped prepared the hall and also those provided and served a beautiful supper for everyone: Anne McEvoy, Claire Patience, Isabel Quilietti, Jim Bell, Kathleen McEvoy, Mairead Magee, Mairead Weir, Margaret Campbell, Margaret Convery, Margaret Johnston Nora Jordan and Sheila Monaghan. Also to Paul McEvoy from Gilberry Fayre for donating tray bakes, As usual Paula Jordan, Paul and Lynn Laverty were outstanding with their beautiful rendition of the Yeats' favourites - Down by the Sally Gardens and Lake Isle of Innisfree.

As part of the project, 5 local schools took part in a joint art project and the Society are most grateful to these schools - Banbridge High School, Milltown P.S., St. Colman's Bann P.S., St. John's P.S. and St. Patrick's College
