NEW DIOCESAN HISTORY JOURNAL
The Diocesan Historical Society have just published a new issue of their journal.

The new journal (120 pages) has articles on a range of subjects, which include:
the episcopate of Bishop Edward Mulhern (1916-43);
the story of Penal era
Bishop of Dromore, Dr Patrick Donnelly - 'The Bard of Armagh';
a portrait of Columban missionary priests originating from the Dromore
Diocese;a history of the Mercy Congregation within Lurgan & Craigavon;
an account of thesignificance of the Grinan Crosses and Clonlea Graveyard, near the boundary of Newry and
Burren parishes.
