The Feast of the Assumption Monday 15th August
Devotion to Our Lady of Fatima.
A beautiful statue of Our Lady of Fatima will be displayed in Laurencetown Church from this weekend until the 16th August.
After this date everyone will have an opportunity to take the statue home for a week.
A booklet accompanying the statue will tell the story of Fatima and give you ideas on how to pray while the statue is in your home.
Hosting the statue in your home is a beautiful way to honour Jesus and Our Lady, to invite God’s blessings into your home and to unite your family in prayer.
It is proposed that you will collect the statue from the Parish Office and return it after a week when another parishioner may then take it home.
While the statue is present in the church everyone is welcome to come and sit and say a prayer.
This was a practice in our church in past years.
We would like to promote devotion to Our Lady of Fatima.

A huge thank you to all who have used the 'DONATE' button on the website. It's a simple way for you to make a contribution to the parish. However, as there is a nominal charge to the parish for each transaction, we would prefer if you did not use this method for your regular weekly/monthly contribution. If you find this method easier than using the 'envelope', why not sign up for a standing order. It saves you searching for the money on a Saturday evening or a Sunday morning and you can amend it at any time. An updated form is available if you click below.
