Dromore Diocesan Changes 2014

$1 Very Rev Martin McAlinden, P.P., Dromore to take up an appointment as Director of Pastoral Theology, St Patrick’s College, Maynooth;

$1Very Rev P J Murray, P.P., Moyraverty and Seagoe to become P.P., Dromore (effective 10 October)

$1Rev. John Byrne, C.C., Newry, to become P.P., Moyraverty and Seagoe (effective 10 October)

$1 Rev Andrew McMahon has returned from the diocese of Geraldton, Australia where he was on loan; he will take responsibility for Adult Faith Development in the diocese and also assist in the parishes of St Peter and St Paul, Lurgan, until further notice; (effective 1^st October)

$ Rev Mario Jachym, C.C., St Peter’s and St Paul’s, Lurgan, and chaplain to the Polish community in the north of the diocese, to reside in the Parochial House, Mayobridge, and to assist in Saval parish;

$   Rev Jozef Wozniak, C.C., St Peter’s and St Paul’s, Lurgan, will also take on the duties of the Polish chaplaincy in the north of the diocese;

$ Rev Colum Murphy, newly ordained, to be C.C., Newry;

$ Rev Brian Fitzpatrick, newly ordained, to be C.C., St Peter’s and St Paul’s parishes, Lurgan;
