Gymnast, Ellis O'Reilly from London qualifies for Ireland through the ‘granny rule’ thanks to her grandfather who is from Gilford. Leo Reilly, born 1930 in Gilford is the grandfather of Ellis -and thanks to Jim Reilly for the information. The 'O' was added to the name when Leo went to work and live in England. Leo Reilly is the son of Eddie, who was the brother of James Reilly, grandfather of Jim. Ellis is the first Irish female gymnast to ever qualify for the games and you can cheer her on when she takes to the floor on Sunday 7th August..
