Leo McEvoy Acknowledgement

Leo 3

The family of the late Leo McEvoy would like to sincerely thank everyone for their support and sympathy during our recent bereavement. Sadly due to COVID Restrictions, we were unable to welcome you to our home at the time of Leo’s death, and to his funeral, but we deeply appreciate the many ways you supported us. Your kindness and many prayers, Mass cards, letters, phone calls, sympathy messages and floral tributes were a great comfort to us at a difficult time.

We wish to thank the Doctors and Staff at the Gilford Health Centre and Craigavon Area Hospital, in particular Ward 2 South, who cared for Leo. Thanks also to Father Brian Fitzpatrick who attended Leo in hospital, to Canon Powell for the beautiful funeral liturgy and to Una McStravick (soloist) and Lynn Laverty (organist) for the prayerful music which enhanced the liturgy.

We also wish to thank McAlinden & Murtagh Undertakers for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral.

In thanksgiving, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Leo’s Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday the 13th of February at 6pm in St Patricks & St Colman’s Church, Laurencetown and will be streamed live via the Parish Webcam.

3 School Terrace, Laurencetown, Craigavon
